ABS (Autonomous Base Station)

The ABS can be mounted onto any wall within the arena to provide a pre-programmed game function. We call this an Autonomous base station since its functionality remains the same, regardless of which game is playing.

Each unit has multicolored lights and a sound beeper. Players can shoot at this device and it can shoot them. Inside the ABS there are some small switches. These can be set to provide different functions such as:

Sentry: Every 60 seconds the beeper sounds, the internal lights flash bright purple and any player in the vicinity will be tagged. Players can de-activate the sentry by shooting at it

Trip wire: A player may activate the trip wire by tagging a sentry. Five seconds later the unit will emit a series of devastating tag beams, tagging all opposing

Crystal Lighting

Crystal Lighting

ighting is an essential part of an arenas theming. The trick is to not have lighting that is too dull or too bright. A mysterious ambiance and with some colorful sparkle is required. Delta Strike's crystal lighting provides the perfect solution - they illuminate with vivid colors which flash, dissolve, dim & strobe.

Apart from just providing a stunning ambiance these light crystals provide gaming information to players - for instance if they are flashing red a player will know that the control station is dispensing Rapid fire functionality

Laser Shooter (Requires haze in arena)

Laser Shooter (Requires haze in arena)

A laser shooter is a small device that can be mounted onto walls or props in the arena. The image on the right shows a laser shooter mounted on the arm of an alien prop.

Laser shooters are perfect for providing interactivity for props. When the laser pulses on and off, players know the alien prop is trying to tag them. With certain games, players can also fire back at the prop to de-activate the Laser Shooter.

Energy Gate (Requires haze in arena)

Delta Strikes energy-gates use high intensity light beams to illuminate doors within the arena. These gates can be illuminated to any color and depending on the game, an Energy Gate can do many different things here are some examples

Energy Gate: The Energy gate is perfect for implementing an dynamically changing doorway. For instance if the spotlights are green, then only green team members may pass through this gateway, other team colors will be tagged.

more examples:

Re-spawn Gate: Some games require that tagged players return to a Re-spawn Gate, in order to be revived back to life.

Bomb Zone: When a red player shoots the sensor, the gateway will light up red and any green players entering will be tagged.

Bomb Zone

The energy gate can be designed in many different ways, according to your overall arena design. As you can see, the light beams may come from the top as well as from the sides.

Additionally, the light beams can illuminate in different colours to determine which team is in possesion of the gate. (please refer to images on the left and above)
